I don't often get out to East Tokyo but my friend Luke is here and we wanted to take him to a lovely shrine. I always feel like I'm seriously living in Asia when I go out to East Tokyo. Here are a few photographs from Sunday in Asakusa.
I stayed in Asakusa! After landing from the UK and suffering serious jetlag I decided to go out exploring straight after dumping bags in the hostel (I'm in Japan!) and got: A) seriously lost B) deliriously happy C) ...except for eating unagi soup with the heads on, not cool guys.
I just got back from Tokyo, and every time I go, a visit to Asakusa is a must! Thanks for showing the non-touristy parts...I love the little restaurants along the street!
Thank you for sharing these!!! How I love every one of them! Hope you are doing well.
