Those pictures are such a beauty of little thing in life! I'm new to your blog and I enjoy reading every part of it. I love craft too! Thanks for sharing :)
Hello, hello! Those pictures are absolutely gorgeous! I just moved to Shimokitazawa myself (via Osaka) and I am in love with this place right now.. I have been reading your blog for a little while now and was shy to say hello, but here I am not. I hope you don't mind I mentioned your lovely blog on mine, Lost in Translation. I'm looking forward to see more pictures, and who knows, I'll probably run into you sometime in the Shimokitazawa streets!
It's so lovely to live in a city you love. And to share all tat makes it loveable... I'm in love with my city too (Paris) and, speaking to people, i find that love makes you see the loveable -not the other way round, although obviously Shimokitazawa and Paris ARE loveable placesn! Well, i don't know if i'm being very clear right now but all this to say you make me want want want to come and visit Japan, every post a bit more* And thank you for that*
Just discovered your blog via Finders Keepers! You combine two things I love: craft and Japan :) I used to live in Japan and seeing your lovely photos of everyday scenes brings back good memories - and makes me feel nostalgic haha! The culture of creativity and feeling of community in Japan is so awesome. Keep up the great work on your blog, zine and other projects :)
This what I enjoy the most about Japan; the little details of daily life. Like the way the laundry is hung out the window or the street signs. Great taste!
I agree with how details are everything.

ReplyDeleteGod, your sense of composition is so consistently awesome. These pictures should be sold for hundreds of dollars each. If you wanted to sell them.
