It's always fun going to a new country and enjoying the packaging of everyday basic items. They always look so fresh and appealing!

Above are a few Hello Sandwich everyday essentials. Okay, I'll be honest - I usually use another margarine brand but I had to try out this one because I fell in love with the typeface and packaging. Hope it's nice!

    oh how is that Teikoku Hotelu margarine? Chotto takai desho? My fav is よつばバター。
    Japanese packaging for basic items never really appeal to me, but when I'm at another country I LOVE going to the supermarkets and look at all these things! It's so much fun isn't it! I can picture you smiling in Ozeki - so kawaii!!!

    Hiki-chan! Ha ha I haven't actually tasted it yet! But I will let you know! ooooo I want to try Yotsuba butter! I will look out for it! I usually use one that tastes like plastic - but it complements the Japanese plastic cheese! ha ha!

    lovely packaging! i've only been to japan on a stopover (overnight in the nikko narita; spent my two hours of daylight before flying out wandering the long term carpark and its convenience store), but i'm afraid that if i ever went there for a longer period i would have to buy extra luggage to cart everything home -- one for muji, and one for packaged food.

    is there a japanese idiom for "cutting the cheese"? ha ha.
