I can't believe it's taken me this long to get my first Digital SLR but I'm so happy my new camera arrived today! I've been walking around my neighbourhood all day taking photos. It's such fun learning about cameras. My dad is a pro photographer so I can't wait for him to teach me how to use my new camera.

Love Sandwich

  11. Beautiful photographs! digital SLRs are so much fun. I recently got one too (the fuji finepix 100) and I love it. xxx They do turn you into a bit of a camera geek though :)

  12. Very jealous of the SLR! I'm grateful for my little point-and-shoot, but I still dream about having an SLR. Someday...
    Beautiful work and pleasant posts!

  13. So much enjoying viewing your colorful adventures in Japan. Keep the pictures coming! I also have a new DSLR, a Nikon D3000. I'm really enjoying the colors it captures.

  14. Congrats on the DSLR! I'm saving my pennies to buy one before my sister's wedding this October... I was a photo major in college and grad school way back in the day, and haven't used a camera other than a point-and-shoot for too, too many years. I can't wait to have better control over my images; you're going to have SO much fun with your new friend! (PS: Which Canon did you get?)

  22. Just curious on why you chose the Canon Digital SLR? - there are so many on the market now that it's hard to choose!

you have a great eye for detail btw.
