Hondarake









Hello! How was your weekend? Can the weekends please stop going so fast?

I made a trip to Hondarake bookstore to stock up on Japanese magazines. Have you been there? It's Sydney's best answer to second hand Japanese books.  Please check out the Hondarake blog or order online at the Online Hondarake shop. Go on, you know you want to pick up a back issue of  Tennen Seikatsu or yet another Nigongo book!

Monday - Saturday 11:00-19:00 
Sunday 12:00-18:00

And if you order online its just $12.60 to ship up to 3kg anywhere in Australia!

P.S. I forgot to tell you...last week the lovely Penelope from Hey Lovely blog sent me these Japanese children's books that she was going to donate to the Op-shop! How super sweet! Arigatou Penelope!     love the pics you've posted here especially the oranges in the top pic. i used to do things like this (perhaps not as good) with oranges as a kid! i grew up in orange country and always found them more interesting after a little creative intervention : )

    how exciting! thanks for pointing this one out! i love the idea of secondhand books being so readily available. now i feel we are so spoiled for choice, with lovely hiki's uguisu as well - good times! and yes, i wish weekends went forever...but then we would not get that lovely weekend feeling, i guess...hmmm.

    I used to watch Sailor Moon with my sis every Saturday afternoon. I'm jealous of your Japanese magazine stash!
