This 47 minute documentary explains the science between Japan's Earthquake and Tsunami. I can really recommend watching it. It also shows the size of the earthquake in Tokyo.
I watched this doco last week. It's a great explanation of what took place (scientifically). Thanks for posting it here. I have also been recommending it to friends and colleagues. Take care, Olivia
.... this really made my heart hurt so deeply.... but continues to keep me focused on sending help + spreading the word on things we can do to help! thank you for sharing....
just watched it. as fascinating as frightening. this is incredible, how the forces of nature can be so strong, and life so fragile. still have my thoughts for japanese people..
Thank you. I will definitely watch it to gain a better understanding of the disaster and best wishes and prayers to everyone in Japan affected by the events.
this is soooo interesting, thank you for posting it, we had a charity hanami today in Yoyogi, it was a little early and quite cold but we raised lots of money. I hope you can come back soon and enjoy a beautiful hanami xx
Thanks for sharing this. It's good to get the scientific perspective on disasters like this, rather than the news that shows the same footage over and over again without explaining what's really happening. My heart goes out to the people of Japan and to any country that is wracked by a natural disaster.
Hello. I am Hello Sandwich. I am an Australian artist and graphic designer living in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo. I love Japan, bento boxes, pantone 107.3 and metallic hologram foil, polka dots and plaid, Holbein gouache and fluoro pencils and I have a huge crush on Japanese artist Hiroshi Sugito. I would like to share with you some of the things that inspire me. I hope you will enjoy.
