These pics of an old Tokyo were taken within a few minutes walk of my apartment in Shimokitazawa. Tokyo is such an incredible and rich city. And it's so fun taking my new DSLR out!

  3. I totally love it!!
As there was a funny twist of fate I will fly to Japan next week and have a third interview for a job there - oh how I wish I'll end up living there.
Other than that I'll enjoy some time with Japanese friends in Gunma ken and may be three days in Tokyo before going back to Germany if I don't get the job.
    Have a great day!
    Greetings.

  4. Nicely captured! I love how old and new are muddled together in Japan - and though it's sometimes sad to see the old things being replaced, it never feels falsely preserved (well, except for places like Shirakawago, which are), the way some places in Europe feel.
Good luck with your new camera!

  5. I always walking through the narrow, quiet back streets in Tokyo. You always find the most interesting stuff.
