A walk home from Ebisu
Today's weather is way to lovely to catch the train so I took a little walk home from my workshop in Ebisu to Shimokitazawa and snapped up some instagram shots along the way. It's one of my favourite pastimes, wondering around looking for photos.
Hope you're having a nice weekend too.

it's wonderful how you can make beautiful photographs from ordinary places :)
ReplyDeleteSuch strikingly beautiful pictures, even of rubbish! I love that one peering around the corner, not quite seeing beyond. The light is so nice, so inviting. Really lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhen people think of Japan they mostly think of temples, geisha's, sumo and anime. But what you are capturing in your photos has become 'typical Japan' for me ever since I moved here. I love walking in these kind of neighborhoods!
ReplyDeleteYou make beautiful compositions out of ordinary - even trash is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYour shots make me so nostalgic of Tokyo. It feels like I am back there :) Thank you!
ReplyDeletei love these photos of everyday life a lot more than photos from exotic trips and locations. there's enough magic in the everyday for me. :)
