Hello Sandwiches,

The other day I went up Tokyo Sky Tree for the first time. We arrived just before 5 and managed to see the daylight, sunset and night light versions of this incredibly mind blowing view. It's not a bad time to visit in case you're ever planning a trip there.

The lifts are sooooo fast and soooo smooth. And the staff uniforms designed by Mina Perhonen, so adorable. I really love the gift shop staff jackets and the cleaning staff uniforms (scroll down a little).

These information touch screen kiosks are very user friendly, and are in both Japanese and English. You can easily switch the view from day to night, and find out some information about each of the buildings.

The clouds finally blew over so we could catch a glimpse of Fuji-san as the sun set.

Love You Tokyo.

  5. When I visited Sky Tree back in Fall 2012 I absolutely loved it! The shopping there is gorgeous, I adored the floor dedicated to character merchandising! :)
